1. Master of Science in Economics (University of Ghent, Belgium): The Economics programme studies the functioning of the global economy. You will discuss all economic actors and their interactions: families, businesses, financial institutions, government and society. The masters programme provides you with advanced insight into economic theories, models and techniques that you can use to analyze and evaluate complex social issues with regard to the interactions and behaviour between economic actors.

2. Neuroeconomics (University of Amsterdam, Netherlands): You learn quantitative skills that allow you to employ advanced experimental methods. Use them to understand social and economic decision-making at different levels of analysis: at the neurobiological, psychological and economic level.

3. Econometrics and mathematical economics(Tilburg University, Netherlands): Learn the latest modelling techniques in economics, econometrics, statistics, and big data methods to solve actual challenges such as: choosing the best economic policy, designing labor markets and capital investments, regulating competition, and recommending strategic behaviour for firms and consumers.

4. Financial economics (Tilburg University, Netherlands): Combine practical financial management with economic analysis of the markets you invest in. You will address, for example, urgent problems in the Eurozone, international financial supervision, micro-finance, bank-runs and systemic risk, and taxation of financial institutions. This is a track of MSc Economics.

5. Port & Transport Economics(Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands): Are you fascinated by transport and its driving role in economic development? Do you enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city, where economic growth manifests itself? This programme focuses on the challenges in better organizing and managing transport, logistics and cities, boosting further economic growth. Through interactive lectures, challenging assignments and lively debates you learn to apply the appropriate methods for a wide range of real-life issues.

Here are a few peculiar courses for Masters in Psychology-

1. Clinical Psychology (Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands): For the practical skills training, the Master’s programme Clinical Psychology offers two different tracks: the ‘Research training track’ and the ‘Clinical training track’. You will have to choose one of them. NB: two is not an option. Please list your preference when you apply. The admission criteria do not differ for both tracks.

If you are interested in working in mental healthcare after your studies, we advise you to choose the ‘Clinical training track’.

2. Master of Research in Work and Organizational Psychology(Maastricht University, Netherlands) : Which working conditions help prevent mental fatigue? What determines the effectiveness of a team? And how do you stimulate innovation? These are the types of questions you'll be asking if you specialize in Work and Organizational Psychology. The programme covers topics such as human resources, human organization and work psychology. You’ll also attend a series of workshops that specifically focus on practical skills, such as applying job analyses and measuring human performance.

3. Legal Psychology(Maastricht University, Netherlands): eyewitness testimonies? Which tests can you use to detect malingers? You'll explore topics like this in the specialization in Legal Psychology. This programme, the only one of its kind in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, includes courses on topics such as lie detection, eyewitness testimonies, interrogation techniques and false confessions.

4. cross-cultural economic psychology(Tilburg, Netherlands): Cross-cultural psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes, including both their variability and invariance, under diverse cultural conditions. Through expanding research methodologies to recognize cultural variance in behaviour, language, and meaning it seeks to extend and develop the psychology

5. Clinical Neuropsychology(University of Groningen, Netherlands)- Clinical neuropsychology is a speciality discipline within psychology which is focused on the associations between the brain and neuropsychological functions, including cognition, emotion and behaviour. Clinical neuropsychology is particularly interested in the effects of brain disorders and other clinical conditions affecting the brain on these functions.
